Supreme Court issues notices on Facebook,Whatsapp and on TRAI

Supreme Court issued Notices for WhatsApp, Facebook, and TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India). 7 months before WhatsApp given privacy policy update, that update is about that Facebook will share the Information of WhatsApp users. And WhatsApp cleared that if users not agree with this agreement they have no rights to use WhatsApp.

In the past a case was recorded that because of WhatsApp sharing information by Facebook it may lead a personal disturbance for users.  

In the past Delhi High court finalized that they cannot take any action on Information privacy policy issue. But, Supreme Court issued notices that they must answer on the privacy policy update within two weeks

Recently in European country the same situation was faced by WhatsApp and Facebook at last Facebook stopped sharing information from WhatsApp.

WHATSAPP bringing two new features for android users currently available for its BETA users

Facebook-owned WhatsApp has finally started rolling out GIF search support to its beta app on Android. After the update, users will be able to search for different types of GIFs right within the app itself. The same feature was rolled out to iOS users back in November 2016. Notably, the maximum limit of media files that can be sent in one go has been increase from 10 to 30.

Post update, users will see a GIF icon placed next to the emoticon icon when they tap on the emoji button. They can then search for GIFs and insert them directly from the app. It's also possible to search GIPHY for a keyword suitable for chat conversations.

Be Aware a Malware is spreading through Whatsapp

whatsapp is a leading social media platform now-a-days. We can share and receive different kinds of files of course there is a limit for file size. A hacker created and sharing some viruses attached to XLS spread sheets. These two files are namely “NDA-ranked-8th-toughest-College-in-the-world-to-get-into.xls”and“NIA-selection-order-.xls”.

NDA and NIA are the main Industries for security and defense. The hacker took the advantage of these industries names and sharing these MOBILE MALWARE under the above mentioned files.

As soon as you click on these malware files , the malware code gets executed on your phone and steals everything that is possible and drops the valuable information (might be credit card info, debit card info, bank details ,photos , contacts and even more) into the hands of the hacker.

WhatsApp is getting ready to give new update, we can edit and Revoke sent Messages

WhatsApp is getting ready to give new update.  Sometimes we may send messages to others instead of sending to particulars. If we get this new update we can get the message back, same as in MS -WORD program when the data was deleted we can get the same data  using UNDO option  in the  same way this whatsApp new update will also works to get back the wrongly sent message using the option  REVOKE (officially cancel).

After tapping on the message we can see options as forward, reply after getting this new update we can see the option REVOKE beside this options      

This new update will appears on the WhatsApp   Beta Version (2.17.1.869) Firstly on IOS   

WhatsApp Finally Lets You Send Documents Over Chat

Years after its launch, the Facebook-owned WhatsApp Messenger has finally received the ability to send documents over chats. The feature is visible in the most recent builds available via Google Play and the App Store - Android v2.12.453 and iOS v2.12.4. WhatsApp has also introduced a bunch of other features with the updates.

On Android, the WhatsApp v2.12.453 that's available from Google Play for some users shows a 'Document' option in the Attachments section (seen above). Not all users with the same app version are able to view the option at the moment. However, most users on the latest app version available from the company site - v2.12.489 - are able to see the option, indicating a server-side update. For now, users can only send pdf files but the file support is likely to expand in the future. 

To note, as before, there are six attachment options, with Photo and Video now being combined into Camera due to the addition of Document. Users will be able to see shared Documents alongside Media and the newly-added Links tab. It is worth mentioning that a user cannot send a document until the receiver has also updated the app to the same or newer Android app version. However, we tried sending a document from iOS v2.12.14 to Android v2.12.489 over WhatsApp and it worked fine.

The WhatsApp v2.12.453 for Android, as mentioned in the Google Play listing, additionally brings over 100 new emojis, Google Drive Backup for chats and media, support for 5 new languages, and is now is compatible with Android 6.0 Marshmallow permissions.

In the meanwhile, WhatsApp for iOS v2.12.4 lets users share photos or videos from other apps such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or Microsoft OneDrive. Users would just need to open "Photo/Video Library" and tap "Choose from another app..." to share files. In addition, users can pick from a set of solid colors for chat background. Besides an improved design for browsing photos and videos, iOS users can even zoom in on videos while they are playing.

Another key feature added in the WhatsApp iOS app update is that users can now see the "blue ticks" (indicating that the message has been read by the other party) directly from the main WhatsApp chat list. Previously, one needed to tap on the chat to open the thread and see if the receiver has read the messages or not. The updated app is available to download from App Store.
