Nick Vujicic hasn't let the fact
of having no arms and no legs stop him from achieving his dreams. His life
story has inspired millions of people all over the world. Here's a few more
little known facts about Nick Vujicic!
1. Nick proposed to his wife, Kanae,
on a yacht in Santa Barbara in 2011. He used his mouth to put the ring on her
finger.
2. Nick and Kanae’s first son, Kiyoshi
James Vujicic, was born 13th February 2013.
3. Although Nick doesn't have
any limbs, he does have two toes on his left foot (which he calls his chicken
drumstick). He can write, type 45 words per minute, swim, answer the phone and
kick tennis balls extremely far.
4. He started his first business,
Life without Limbs, a nonprofit organization when he was only 17.
5. Nick graduated with a
Bachelor of Commerce at the age of 21 from Griffith University. He had a double
major of financial planning and accountancy.
6. Nick can actually hold his
breath longer than the average person – two minutes, 13 seconds.
7. Having half the blood volume
his body, everything hits Nick twice as hard – sugar, caffeine or alcohol.
8. Nick spoke at the World
Economic Forum in 2011 in Davos, Switzerland.
9. Nick says he keeps a pair of
shoes in his closet, because he believes in miracles.
10. He's the star of the award-winning
short film "The Butterfly Circus".
