WHY KUMBAKARNA SLEPT SO MUCH

Once KUMBAKARNA Under took a Penance to please LORD BRAMHA  as we know that LORD BRAMHA  Gives Boon whether he was Loyal also not Loyal

KUMABAKARNA was Unshakable   when the entire God tried to disturb his Penance. KUMBAKARNa was the Brother of Powerful king and Ravana and he has most powers KUMBAKARNA was clear that he want boon. The Seat of INDRA (INDRASAN)  all the gods are started fearing if he get boon of INDRASAN that he will Create a lot of trouble if he gets the boon INDRASAN. When KUMBAKARNA was ready to open his Mouth to ask INDRASAN. 

Instead of INDRASAN he asked NIDRASAN (before bed). Somebody said that LORD SARSWATHI Made his Tongue tied and made him misspeak after realization of his misspeak.   KUMBAKARNA pleased LORD BRAMHA but LORD BRAMHA replied that he could not take the boon back which was given once but LORD BRAMHA came to an Agreement that he will Sleep for 6 Years and other 6 years to to eat .

Later when KUMABAKARNa going to bed RAVANA asked his Help to defeat RAMA Kumbakarna Repied that RAMA was Good King it was not correct to separate SITA but RAVANA Pressures him KUMBAKARNa obey Because he was loyal to Brother RAVANA  In this Process KUMBAKARNA was Killed by LORD RAMA
